How: Join Target Circle (free), create a baby registry, add at least 10 different items, and have $10 or more bought from it (by you or a guest). Then open Offers & Benefits in the registry and either show the barcode at Guest Services or add the kit to an online order of $35 or more for free shipping.

The first 100 shoppers in line at each store got a free holiday tote filled with giveaways, and 10 per store found prizes worth $99 to $350 inside.
How: Be in line before the store opens on Black Friday; it goes to the first 100 guests. Check Target's Black Friday announcement in mid-November for this year's version.

One free tall hot or iced brewed coffee, cold brew or Bullseye cookie at a Starbucks inside Target.
How: Target Circle members scan the barcode in the Wallet tab of the Target app at the Starbucks counter inside Target, on the day. About 1,800 stores have one.

- Target Circle's birthday perk is 5% off one purchase, not a freebie, and it doesn't stack with the Target Circle Card's everyday 5%.
- Start the baby registry early: the welcome kit only unlocks after 10 items are on the list and $10 has been bought from it.
- Target Circle 360 (the paid membership) has extra monthly freebies, but they come with a yearly fee, so they aren't listed here.
