Metropolitan Library System Book Sale, Free Admission
Entry to this public book sale costs nothing, but the books themselves are for sale, so this is a free browse, not free books. Show up at the sale and pay for anything you want to take home. Details on location and hours are at supportmls.org/booksale.
Free Baby Storytime at Free Library of Philadelphia
Babies get read-aloud stories along with songs, rhymes and lap bounces in the Read, Baby, Read program. Search the library's event calendar to find a branch near you. Sessions appear to run on Wednesdays, at noon at some branches and 2pm at others, so check your branch's listing for the time and whether registration is needed.
