Houston Public Library Kids Storytimes
Houston Public Library branches run free storytimes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, some in person and some virtual. The calendar can be filtered by age group, and all library events are free and open to the public. Times and formats vary by branch.
Free Comic Books at Metropolitan Library Events
Free comic books are handed out at Comic Book Day events at Metropolitan Library branches, with the comics donated by local shops including Super Comics Bros and Atomik Pop. No purchase or signup is mentioned, but check the event page for which branches take part and when. Supplies are likely limited, so earlier is safer.
