Just when you thought text messaging could not be any more trendy, advertisers are on the scene. Usually, mobile coupons don’t last very long as the codes spread like wildfire… but, never fear. Free Mania will list the best SMS Freebies we can find on this page.
Oftentimes, companies will have an SMS texting promotion where they will text you a few times a month with new promotions once they find out where you live (they will ask for your zip code via a text message). If you get tired of the promotions, you can text the advertiser with the message STOP and you’ll be off the list.
Be aware that standard text messaging rates do apply (unless you have an unlimited plan).
I tested all of the following coupons on 7/29/09, at which time they were all valid and working.

They will ask you for your zip code. Some have reported getting a coupon good for a free Arby’s Roast Burger with the purchase of a drink.

Text the number 686868 with the message: AUTOCARE
You’ll receive a text back good for $20 off any purchase of tires or auto service, valid immediately.
