This means when you complete 1 day of volunteer work, you will get 1 free admission certificate valid at Disneyland in CA or Walt Disney World in FL. This deal is being sponsored by a partnership between Disney and the HandsOn Network. Tickets normally cost $25-$80.
When and where you do your day of volunteer work is organized at Disney’s home page for this freebie. Registration does not begin until 1/1/2010. Families, you can register your kids if they’re of ages 6 and up. Each person must complete and verify their 1 day of volunteer work for their free admission. Click here for official FAQ and details.

Can you upgrade your ticket or is it just general admission?
Chris, I think it might depend on the specific venue you are trying to get your ticket for. You might have to check individually.
