Renting movies from a brick and mortar store costs $$$. Yuck. So I thought I’d remind everyone that plenty of sites on the internet will stream movies to your computer for free and in Hi-Def. It actually costs companies relatively very little to stream. Add a few commercial breaks and costs are covered. The result is FREE movies and TV shows. Poking around on the internet brings up a plethora of sites, but you don’t have to search. I’ve done that for you
Hulu.com – Likely the most popular, Hulu is where to go to watch the newest episodes from the likes of The Office, Simpsons, and the Family Guy (usually 24 hours after the TV air date). Hulu offers sports, movies, documentaries, and tons of short clips. They rotate their movies, keeping them available for a few weeks at most. Try out their very cool search bar to find something you like.
LetMeWatchThis.com – Movies and TV shows, a lot of 90s and 80s films, popular TV shows. Miss watching Duck Tales? Watch it instantly at LetMeWatchThis.com.
Joost – If you’re into independent films, Joost has a good selection of full length non-mainstream films.
Another thing you can do is visit ABC, NBC, and other networks online. They usually host their own streams of select shows and episodes. Don’t grab your wallet for a movie, just click your mouse a couple times, lay back and relax – it’s 100% free.
