Free Night of Theater 2009 is ready to kick off their 5th annual campaign on 10/1. 75,000 tickets for numerous venues in 120 cities across the U.S. will be available for reservation free of charge (1 per person). Their online reservation system will begin working on 10/1 at 10am. You can currently search venues using the “Find a Show” link located on their website. Free tickets are for shows during the month of October.

This is still a great deal, but it’s actually live theatre, not movies.
