A lot of grocery stores will take a nickel off your total for every reusable bag you use at check out. This is better than nothing, but not a very big incentive. Well, CVS is stepping things up by offering the Green Bag Tag. Look for one inside your local CVS next time you stop by.

The Green Bag Tag is simply a tag you purchase for only $.99. Clip it to your own reusable bag. When you make a purchase at CVS, scan your bag tag and your ExtraCare card. Every 4th visit to CVS using your tag will earn you one free ExtraCare Buck! This isn’t a whole lot but it will add up. If you live close to a CVS you can divide up your visits.

If you don’t know anything about the CVS ExtraCare program, read this Free Mania post that explains everything. Extra Bucks are just like cash or a gift card valid only at CVS stores.
